Nehal is a Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor, having over 20 years of professional experience. In 2001, she started her career with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Mumbai in the internal audit practice.

From mid 2004 to 2007, she was a part of the systems and process assurance team in PricewaterhouseCoopers, Virginia (USA) office where she concentrated on information technology and application controls reviews.
